Q: Is the wash
safe for my vehicle?
A: Absolutely.
AutoBuffs Express
utilizes
state-of-the-art
microfiber and
neo-glide material
on our wraps and
mitters. This
material doesn’t
trap dirt or grit
and leaves your car
with a showroom
shine. We use top of
the line Ecolab
chemicals to ensure
that your car
receives the very
best wash possible.
Q: Will the wash
damage my antenna?
A: This possibility
exists in all
automatic car
washes. The problem
arises when an
antenna is not
firmly secured in
place. Visual
inspections are not
enough. While the
antenna may look
secured, if it is
slightly loose there
is the possibility
it may snap.
Unfortunately, on
busy days we cannot
check every single
antenna. For this
reason, as well as
your peace of mind,
we recommend you
remove the antenna
before entering the
wash. Also, all
power antennas must
always be in the
down position. Due
to the fact that
they are hollow,
they will always
bend or break.
Q: How does your
automated system
know which wash I
purchased
A: The simple answer
is in the word
automation. As
soon as your
transaction is
processed at the pay
station, your wash
selection is placed
in a queue line and
the order of the
wash is controlled
by the electronic
gate system. When
the gate opens it is
your turn to enter
the wash. As soon as
your vehicle enters
the building it
passes an electronic
“eye” which then
signals to the
computer what pieces
of equipment need to
be turned on and at
what time.
Q: How do I use
the auto-cashier
(pay station)?
A: For all and
intents and
purposes, the
auto-cashier is a
touch screen ATM.
The on-screen
narrator will guide
you step by step in
selecting and paying
for your wash. The
machine accepts cash
(bills, no coins,
and it will make
change), credit and
debit cards. It also
accepts gift cards
that can be
purchased by one of
our attendants.
These cards are
processed in the
same manner as a
credit card and they
can be used at any
one of our
locations. In
addition, the gift
cards are reusable
and can be recharged
at any auto-cashier.
Lastly, the auto
cashier will accept
wash tokens that are
primarily used for
charity
organizations.
Q: Where is the
tire (black) shine
applied to my
vehicle?
A: Like all other
aspects relating to
the exterior washing
of your vehicle, the
tire shine is
applied by the
equipment before you
exit the building.
Q: How do I use
the FREE vacuums?
A: After exiting the
wash building,
simply pull into any
available vacuum
parking space and
retrieve the vacuum
hose from the
holder. Our vacuums
are constantly
running and they are
very powerful. You
will find that this
is one of AutoBuffs
Expresses’ signature
features. The vacuum
nozzles are user
friendly and allow
easy access to those
hard to reach areas.
Q: Do you offer a
monthly wash pass
allowing unlimited
washing?
A: Yes. This will be
available very soon
(See Club
Membership).
Membership will
enable the user to
unlimited car washes
for one low monthly
fee, starting from
$19.95. This will be
car specific but
family plans will be
available.
Unfortunately, this
program is not
available to
commercial accounts
(See Fleet
Accounts). Check
back often for
updates on when this
amazing offer will
be available.
Q: Will my truck
or van fit in your
wash?
A: We are able to
accommodate almost
every size vehicle.
However, vehicles
exceeding 7’2”,
duallys and vehicles
with lowered
suspensions cannot
fit in the tunnel.
Also tire widths
on any vehicle
must not exceed 12
inches.
Q: May I run my
truck through the
wash with items in
the truck bed?
A: We ask you
PLEASE to remove all
items, including
trash and debris,
from the truck beds.
Also, we will not
accept any truck
that stores diesel
or gas pumps. We
reserve the right to
refuse any vehicle
that does not comply
with this request.
